Your walk stays yours

Last updated August 9, 2026

Armor of God Brand ("we," "us") runs the Armor of God app. This policy explains what we collect and what we do not. The short version: your prayers, journal entries, study progress, and saved verses live on your own device, not on our servers.

What stays on your device

The app has no Armor of God account and no cloud sync. Everything you write inside it, including prayer-list entries, journal entries, study answers, saved verses, and progress, is stored locally in your browser using local storage. We never see it, receive it, or back it up. It does not automatically follow you to a new device or a different browser.

Backups and changing devices

Use Export backup in the app's Settings before changing devices, switching browsers, or clearing browser data. The downloaded JSON file contains your app information and license key. Keep it somewhere private. To restore it, choose Import backup. Importing replaces the app information currently stored in that browser and activates that browser as one of the three devices included with your personal license.

License and device information

Your purchase includes a personal license for up to three active devices or browsers. The app creates a random device identifier and sends that identifier, your license key, and license-validation requests to Polar. This prevents one key from being used without limit. It is not a device fingerprint, and we do not send Polar your prayers, journal entries, saved verses, study answers, or other private app content.

The app checks the license periodically when you are online. After the first online unlock, app files you have opened may be stored in a protected offline cache on that device so they can continue working without a connection. The app clears that protected cache when you erase everything or when the license is rejected while online. You can remove an old activation through the customer portal link in your Polar receipt. Erasing all app information attempts to release that browser's activation. If the browser is offline, you may need to remove it through Polar instead.

Deleting app information

You can delete individual prayer requests, journal entries, and reflections inside the app. To remove all app information stored in that browser, open Settings and choose Erase everything and start fresh. This cannot be undone unless you exported a backup first. Clearing the browser's site data can also remove the locally stored information.

Deleting local app information does not remove records held separately for purchases, customer support, email delivery, or a review you submitted through our Google Form. Contact us using the address below if you want to request deletion of information we hold outside the app.

What we do collect

What we never do

Email from us

We may email you about your purchase. If you opt in, we may also send occasional updates or devotional content. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and one click stops it.

Your choices

You can request a copy or deletion of purchase records, support messages, or review-form answers we hold by emailing support@armorofgodbrand.co. Include enough detail for us to identify the record. Since private app content never leaves your device automatically, you control it directly by editing or clearing it in the app.

Children

The app is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
